Happy 2 Be Home was inspired by two handicapped children, Charlotte and Nathan. Charlotte became ill in 2009 at age 7 with a rare disease that has left her severely handicapped. In order for Charlotte to live at home again, renovations to her home were required and many friends rallied with financial support.
Then Nathan, a friend of Charlotte’s, also needed improved facilities to support his handicaps and once again financial help was found. After learning of the great need for at-home facilities for disabled kids, friends of Charlotte and Nathan founded Happy 2 Be Home. Our mission is to enable families to provide a suitable home environment for children with chronic, long term, multiple disabilities to enhance their quality of life.
